1990,
Suge persuaded The D.O.C., after his car accident, to join tha upcoming new label named "Funky Enough Records" (later Future Shock Ent.) Suge participated of the success "Ice Ice Baby" performed by white rapper Vanilla Ice, earning some money with tha rights of the song. Actually, tha song wuz written by Suge's rapper Chocolate in 1988. With After Shock Entertainement, Suge signed management dealz with rappers like Chocolate & DJ Quik (who wuz given tha tracc "Born & Raised In Compton" wrote by Chocolate).
1991,
Suge negotiated a deal with Priority Records in orda 2 B abale 2 secure releases for Dre & othaz Ruthless musicians like Above The Law.
1992,
Suge from Future Shock Ent. (later officially "Death Row Records"), got a deal with Sony/Solar Records for tha release of "Deep Cover" OST and create with John Payne GodFather Entertainment. Sony gave a chance to Suge Knight cuz he succeed to persuade Dr Dre to left Ruthless Records & sign with Death Row Records. Snoop Doggy Dogg, Jewell, The Lady of Rage, Paradise & Emage appeared on the soundtrack, first demo of upcoming Suge Knight label. First, Snoop Doggy Dogg was about to sign with Above The Law & Cold 187um but Dre snatched him up...

Plus,
If you listen carefully to the beginnin of "Prelude", the words 'Death Row' are bleeped out (courtesy of Eazy-E). Actually, Chris "The Glove" Taylor is a Po' Broke & Lonely member. He worked hard with Dr Dre for record "The Chronic" but neva could leave Ruthless Records (Eazy-E neva let 'em out of their contract)
